Wake and Shake Leaders Workshop – October 2011

Thank you for the Wake and Shake workshop. The Year 6 pupils and teacher enjoyed it enormously.

They Year 6s have simplified the dance a little so that our 4 year olds in Oak Class can take part too, but the dance is largely the same. The Year 6 teacher commented that this year was far more successful because all of his pupils were able to follow the routine (even those with apparently no sense of rhythm or lack of coordination).

This new routine has given us all a good boost to our old and tired dance routines and made everyone realise that more complicated but enjoyable moves are achievable. Great fun – thank you.

Private Lessons, for Harry, in August 2011

The energy and enthusiasm Jax puts into teaching is infectious. Harry picked up so much in just a week of private lessons, and we were amazed at the dance routine and ‘Show’ put on at the end of the week. Some great new moves were developed, and have been added to Harry’s portolio. It looked so seamless at the end of the week, which belies some great teaching and hard work. Thank you so much.

Private Lessons – Six week course for Wedding Dance, August 2011

My fiance and I had a truly wiked time during our private lessons, leaving on a high after each session- barely noticing the time pass by. Our classes were a brilliant balance of laughter (mostly at ourselves) excersise and learning our actual routine. We were by no means any good but Jax designed classes specifically to us and our abilities, constantly tweaking what we were doing so that we didn’t feel inhibited or rubbish.

From the dance classes with you, Matt has really worked hard to achieve his dream. He was accepted on a 3 year full scholarship at The Centre of Performing Arts in London. It was his first day today! Amazing that you sow into students never knowing where all your hard work will end up.

Six Week School Workshop with Performance – March 2011
